Easy Doughnuts!!!!
Ok, I learned this one in middle school.
Ingredients
2 cans of white biscuits (usually costs between $.99 and $1.50 a can)
2 cups vegetable oil
Directions
Open both cans of biscuits and separate the dough. Pour oil into a small, deep pot and heat on medium. A great option is to use a knife and cut out a "doughnut hole" into each of the doughnuts. But this is only an option. Drop one doughnut into the oil. Use a large, slatted spoon to flip the doughnut when it is golden brown on the bottom. Remove the doughnut as soon as it is golden brown on both sides using the slatted spoon. Allow to drain and cool on a paper towel. Try to only cook one or two doughnuts at a time. You can cook several of the doughnut holes at a time.
Icing
2 cups confectioners sugar
1 cup hot water
1 tsp butter.
Directions
Mix ingredients and drizzle over doughnuts
Cinnamon and Sugar
1 cup sugar
2 Tbsp cinnamon
Mix ingredients in a paper bag. Place one or two doughnuts into bag and shake to coat. Repeat with the rest of the doughnuts.
